Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exodus 20:8

What is the Sabbath?

The Sabbath is a special gift that God gave us for our benefit. It's an opportunity to invest in our relationship with God and our family and friends. It's a special time of worship, community, learning God's Word, and REST. And simply, it’s a way to tell God, “I love you.”

When is the Sabbath?

The Sabbath is every seventh day of the week. Since in the Bible a day begins at sundown, the Sabbath is from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday.

Experience Sabbath

We believe that the best way to learn is by doing! Therefore, we have started a movement called Experience Sabbath whereby Sabbath-keeping Christians around the world invite their friends to enjoy the Sabbath with them.

We are encouraging Sabbath-keepers to open up their homes on Friday night and allow guests to join them in their celebration. We believe that the welcoming environment of the home is a great introduction to the Sabbath, which may stir up a desire within guests to learn more, to attend Sabbath services at Church on Saturday, and ultimately to make the Sabbath a part of their lives every week.

This site is designed to give you free resources and a basic template that you can use to host your own home Sabbath celebration.
